The original pastel painting “Edge of Silence. Bozzhira” (47×62 cm, 2025) by artist Julia Albert was created after her spring journey to the Bozzhira Tract — a breathtaking natural monument on the Mangystau Peninsula in Western Kazakhstan.

In the foreground stands a twisted saxaul tree, clinging to the rocky edge of a chalk cliff — a silent guardian of time. Two tiny human figures appear on the upper ridge, dwarfed by the vastness around them. In the distance, the iconic twin chalk peaks of Bozzhira rise under a pale lilac-blue sky.
The color palette combines cool whites, blues, and violets with warm earthy tones, creating a serene, meditative atmosphere.

This artwork speaks of eternity, solitude, and the beauty of untouched nature.
The painting is not varnished, preserving the soft matte texture of dry pastel. It is unframed, allowing the collector to choose framing and matting that best complement their interior.

🖼 Perfect for interiors in minimalist, eco, contemporary, rustic, or ethnic styles — spaces that value natural harmony, light, and contemplation.
