Arctic as Art”, dedicated to the significant anniversary — the 500th anniversary of the discovery of the Northern Sea Route.

The artist, selected through a competitive program, spent eight days painting from life: the majestic landscapes of Yakutia, industrial scenes of the shipyard, as well as exhibits from open-air museums.

All works are united by the living breath of the North — the austere yet fragile beauty of nature, the unique atmosphere of Yakutia, and the energy of its people. Created in soft pastels, these sketches convey the finest color transitions, the tenderness of air, and the depth of northern landscapes.
